RUPS 2000 software has been developed for Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) following the Dry Contact (DB9) communication protocol. It monitors the status of the UPS, shuts down the system before the UPS is exhausted and can remotely observe the UPS via the Internet(enabling users to manage their more effectively). Upon AC failure or UPS battery low, RUPS takes all necessary actions without intervention from the system administrator.
